Come to The LIGHT - The Test of Our Faith (When The Rubber Hits The Road)

Mar 12, 2023    Pastor (Kahu) Skip Wright

Aloha & Shalom!

Have you ever noticed that it's not until things get rough that most people 'seek' God! It makes sense, doesn't it? After all, why ask for help when things are going "so well" and "so smoothly" - you know, "easy-peasy nice & easy"?! It's during those times that we forget that even if we don't 'need' anything 'from' God that we should remember to PRAISE HIM AND THANK HIM FOR THOSE BLESSINGS!

In other words NEVER BE SILENT WITH GOD - in good times as well as in bad. Trust me, if you're alive and I'd venture to say most of you are - if you're reading this - then you understand what I am saying. Things aren't always going to be easy and the true test of one's character is not when the going is 'good' and the road is 'smoothe going' - nope - the test is when we actually hit the 'real world' and are truly put to the test by life itself. GOD ISN'T THE ONE TESTING US - Life WILL TEST YOU - GOD is the means to get through whatever we face. Amen!
